The Teal Pumpkin Project was one of FARE's most recognized campaigns, but awareness alone wasn't enough. The challenge was encouraging more families, schools, businesses, and communities to actively participate while keeping the campaign fresh after years of running annually.
Strategic Insight
Instead of treating the Teal Pumpkin Project as a single awareness day, we positioned it as a seasonal movement. The strategy centered on creating content that people wanted to share. highlighting real families, encouraging community participation, leveraging partners, giving organizations assets they could easily distribute, and maintaining momentum over several weeks instead of one announcement
